Our Baptism Teams also organise pre-natal blessings at different points throughout the year for expectant mothers and their families.

Baptism is the first great sacrament of welcome, for our young people into God's family. The responsibility of parents is very important to live and practice their faith, so in that way it's handed on to their children.

Baptisms take place on the first and third Saturdays of the month at 4pm.

There is a preparatory meeting on the Wednesday previous at 7:30pm. Parents and God Parents are invited to attend this meeting.

A Family Prayer

Loving God, we ask your blessing on our family.

Watch over us and guide us.

Make our home a place of love and safety,

a place of peace and joy,

a place where we grow in faith together.

We make this our prayer through Christ Our Lord.
