15th Sunday of the Year CHURCH NOTICES                   Sunday 14th July 2024

1. Our Monday evening Devotions continue as usual, with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm.  This is followed at 7.00 p.m. by the Rosary, Novena Prayers and Benediction.  

2. As part of the Dominican 800th Anniversary this year our Dominican Provincial, Fr John Harris OP,  will be the main celebrant at a special 12 noon televised Mass from the Basilica in Knock on Sunday the 28th July. We would like to hear from parishioners who might be interested in travelling for that Mass

3. We’re also giving advance notice of the Annual Dominican pilgrimage to Knock from the parish this year which will take place on Sunday, the 13th October. Further details later.

4. Fr John Harris OP will give a week long retreat on the teaching of  St John Henry Newman and his helpful insights for our following Christ today in the Dominican Retreat House starting next weekend. More information available on the poster at the back or from the Retreat House. 

5. We thank all who contributed so generously to the Summer Dues Collection this year.

6. The Churchgate Collection on this the  2nd Sunday of the month is for the local Conference of St. Vincent De Paul.  We ask you to show your usual generosity.  

7. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank.  We appeal to every family in the Parish to lend their support to this most important collection.  There is also the option of donating by using the DONATE button on the Parish Website.  If you follow our Mass on the webcam we appeal to your generosity to consider making a donation by using the Donate Button.  Thank you.
