5th Sunday of Lent CHURCH NOTICES                   Sunday 6th April 2025

1. Our Monday evening devotions continue as usual with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm. This is followed at 7pm by Rosary, Novena Prayers and Benediction. 

2. This Sunday is Reconciliation Sunday here in St Aengus’s. Each Mass will begin with a short form of reconciliation for Lent & Holy Week. Visiting priests will be available.

3. We congratulate & pray for the 48 young people from our 2nd classes  who celebrated the Sacrament of Penance (1st Confession) here last Thursday evening.

4. There are some Lenten retreats taking place in the Dominican Retreat Centre.  Full details can be found on the poster at the back of the Church.  

5. Next Thurs 10th at 11.30a.m. there will be an end of school term Mass for Scoil Aonghusa Senior. 

6. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank.  We appeal to every family to lend their support to this most important collection.   If you do not already have a box of envelopes, there are some available at the back of the Church.  If you follow our Mass on the webcam we appeal to your generosity to consider making a donation by using the Donate Button on the St Aengus Parish website.   Thank you.
