16th Sunday of the Year CHURCH NOTICES                   Sunday 21st July 2024

1. Our Monday evening Devotions continue as usual, with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm.  This is followed at 7.00 p.m. by the Rosary, Novena Prayers and Benediction.  

2. As part of the Dominican 800th Anniversary this year our Dominican Provincial, Fr John Harris OP,  will be the main celebrant at a special 12 noon televised Mass from the Basilica in Knock on next Sunday the 28th July.  If you are unable to travel you can participate by following the Mass on RTE! TV at 12 on next Sunday.

3. The unveiling of a plaque commemorating the presence of the Carmelite Sisters for 190 years in Firhouse will take place immediately after the 11.30am Mass on next Sunday in the grounds of Our Lady Mt Carmel Church, Firhouse. 

4. Bayside parish (Alpha course)  are hosting Bishop Barron’s 6 week film series on The Mass, starting on Sunday the 4th of August from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. To join this Zoom course email Paul at alphabayside@gmail.com. 

5. There are a number of Retreats taking place in the Dominican Retreat House, Tallaght  between – now and the 15th September. Full details and costs etc are on the Posters on the Notice Board at the back of the Church

6. Thank you to all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope Collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank.  We appeal to every family in the Parish to lend their support to this most important collection.  There is also the option of donating by using the DONATE button on the Parish Website.  If you follow our Mass on the webcam we appeal to your generosity to consider making a donation by using the Donate Button.  Thank you.

7. The Churchgate Collection is for the Church Refurbishment.  We ask you to show your usual generosity.
