Palm Sunday        CHURCH NOTICES           Sunday 14th April 2019

1. A Deanery Penance Service for Holy Week will take place in the Priory at 7.30pm on Monday night.  Priests from different parts of the Deanery will be available to help the local Dominican priests with the hearing of confessions.

2. On Holy Thursday next the Mass of the Last Supper will be at 7.30pm. All involved in ministry & service in the parish are invited to come & renew their commitment at this Mass of the Lord’s Supper “ when  the Lord washed the feet of his disciples”. 

3. On Good Friday:  the Children’s Stations will be at 12 noon; The Ceremony of the Lord’s Passion is at 3.00pm. and evening Stations in the Church  at 8.00pm.

4. There is a special Outdoor Stations at 5pm starting up at the end of Castle Lawns and returning to the Church via Balrothery Estate and Castle Lawns. We invite all parishioners along the way to come out and join in.  

5. The Easter Vigil Mass will be at 7.00pm on next Sat.  On  Easter Sunday, the family Mass at 10.30am will feature the new Junior Choir. Families are invited to bring their children & take part in the Easter Egg Hunt after the Mass.

6. The Priory Institute (Tallaght) is offering a free Holy Week Online Retreat. You can watch one short online talk each day that will guide you through the Gospels of Holy Week. See the poster & flyers at the back with details on how to register.

7. The Parish Lotto was won last week. Next week’s Jackpot will €750. Tickets available after Mass & also from the usual sellers. 

8. Easter Mass Bouquet Cares are available from the Parish Office/ Sacristy.  Your intentions will be offered in a Triduum of Masses from the 15th to the 17th April. 

9. The Sunshine Fund of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is holding its annual collection outside the church this weekend.  Each year, the Sunshine Fund provides much needed holidays for approximately 1,000 of Dublin’s less fortunate children.  The Advocate Collection is the only way the Sunshine Fund can finance these holidays.  Please be as generous as you can.
