2nd Sunday of the Year        CHURCH NOTICES           Sunday 19th January 2020


Adoration of the most Blessed Sacrament will also take place on Monday after the 10am Mass and continue throughout the day.  It will conclude as usual with Rosary & Benediction & the Miraculous Medal devotion at 8.00 p.m. 

2. School Enrolments for Scoil Iosa & Scoil Aengusa Junior (regarding Junior Infant places for next Sept) will take place very soon.   Scoil Iosa will enrol next week beginning Mon., Jan 20th.  Scoil Aengusa Jnr will enrol on the week beginning Monday Feb 3rd.  Enrolment forms & information available from the schools.

3. A Week of Prayer for Christian Unity takes place this week. An ecumenical prayer service for the Tallaght parishes will take place on this  Sunday 19th Jan at 3pm in St Thomas the Apostle Church, Jobstown.  All are invited. Refreshments afterwards.

4. Tallaght Choral Society will present a concert entitled the “Glories of Baroque” – featuring the music of Vivaldi & Handel on this Sun, 19th January at 8pm in the Church of St Jude,  Templeogue.  Tickets  €20 available at the door.

5. We thank all who contribute weekly to the Church Envelope collection by way of Envelope or Standing Order to the Bank.  If you do not have a box of the new envelopes and would like your family to contribute, there are boxes available at the back of the Church or from the Sacristy.  Also Standing Order forms available on table at the back.

6. The Parish Lotto was not won last week.  Next week’s Jackpot will be €2,800 & tickets are available after Mass & from the usual sellers.  Thank you for all your support.  

7. The Church Gate Collection today is to support the Parish Newletter which was distributed in the past week. We ask you to show your usual generosity.  Copies of the Newsletter are available on the stand at the back. Thank you.
