1st Sunday of Advent                  CHURCH NOTICES             Sunday 3rd December 2017

1.    Next Friday, the 8th December,  is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception & is a Holy Day. Mass times on Friday are at 8.20am,10.00am & 7.00pm

2. A reminder that next weekend is giving Sunday. The St Vincent De Paul Annual Christmas Collection will replace the Share Collection at each Mass; also children are invited to a bring a gift that can be shared with  poor children at Christmas time.

3. The Annual Parish Christmas Raffle will take place in the Penny Black on Thurs 14th Dec at 9.30pm. Books of tickets are available from the Sacristy or the Parish Office. Tickets should be returned to the Parish Officeas soon as possible. 

4. Further to our appeal at last week’s Masses in relation to the House to House envelope collection, again we would ask you to consider supporting this most important “bread & butter” collection - either by taking a box of envelopes from the back of the Church or by way of Standing Order, which is included in this Month’s Newsletter or available from the parish office.

5. Scoil Iosa Parents Association have organised a Christmas Market in Scoil Iosa on this Sunday from 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. Please support.  

6. The Priory Institute are holding an Open Day on next Sat from 10.30am – 2pm & will include a lecture in Theology & a light lunch. 

7. The Parish Lotto was won last week. Congrats to the lucky winner.  Next week’s Jackpot will be €750. Tickets available after Mass & from the usual sellers.

8. The SVDP Senior Citizens Christmas Party will take place in the Penny Black Pub on next Weds 6th December from 3.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. Tickets are €10.00 available at the Parish Office  or you can pay on the day in the Penny black.  Price includes a 2 course meal, music, raffle and lots more.   

9. The Church Gate Collection is for our excellent Altar Servers here in St. Aengus’s. Please show your usual generous support. Thank you
