Church Notices

4th Sunday of Easter         CHURCH NOTICES           Sunday 22nd April 2018

1. A cluster meeting of neighbouring parishes will take place on Monday at 8pm in St Dominic’s Church. Members of the St Aengus Pastoral Council are invited to attend.

2. Thank you to all who have returned their Lenten Trocaire box! Your generosity and support of the people of the 3rd world is greatly appreciated.

3. The best way, at this stage, to ensure that you have a ticket for the Popes’s Mass in the Phoenix Park on Sunday August 26th  & a ticket for the Prayer Service in Croke Park on the Sat 25th  is to register for the Pastoral Congress in the RDS  on either the Weds, Thurs or Friday before hand.  More tickets for the Mass will become available later in May. More info on the blue leaflets at the back.

4. The Service of Light for all making Confirmation this year will take place at the 7pm Vigil Mass on next Saturday.

5. The next Vine Mass in this Church will take place on Sunday next at 7pm. Your prayer intentions for this Mass can be posted on the Prayer Wall at the Tymon North Entrance.

6. Copies of the Irish Bishops letter entitled “Our Common Humanity” on the forthcoming abortion referendum are available on a yellow page at the back of the Church.

7. In recent times a number of parishioners &  friends of St Aengus have responded to our appeal for support of St Aengus Parish by contributing weekly to the Church envelope collection or by signing up to a Standing Order. We want to say a big thank you as we need the support of every single household to help with the running costs of the parish.
After all, it is OUR parish!!!

8. The Parish Lotto draw was won last week. We congratulate the lucky winner.  Next week’s Jackpot will be €750. Tickets available after Mass & from the usual sellers.

9. The Church Gate Collection is to help with the publishing of the Parish our monthly Newsletter.  Copies available on the stand at the back.  Please show your usual generosity.
