1st Sunday of  Lent         CHURCH NOTICES           Sunday 18th  February 2018

1. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place on Monday after the 10am Mass and continue throughout the day concluding with Rosary & Benediction & the Miraculous Medal devotion at 8pm. 

2. During the season of Lent daily Mass is at 10am (Mon- Fri). There is no 8.20am Mass this year.  However, there is an 8am Mass each morning in the Priory.

3. In preparation for the World Meeting of Families in Dublin next August there will be 3 Conversations about Family Life today. These 3 Thursday night Conversations will be held in the Calaroga Room on next Thurs 22nd Feb also on Thurs  1st March   & the  8th March.  You are invited to attend – as Pope Francis reminds us “Families come in all shapes & sizes!  Each is special and to be cherished!  Let’s talk family and  let’s  be family!” 

4. Trocaire Family Lenten Boxes are available at the back of the church or from the Parish Office. Please bring one home if you did not receive one through the school 

5. The Parish Lotto was won last week. Congratulations to the lucky Winner.  Next week’s Jackpot will be €750. Tickets available after Mass & from the usual sellers.

6. The Lenten edition of the Parish Newsletter appeared this week with a quotation from Pope Francis on the front ..” I urge the members of the Church to take up the Lenten journey with enthusiasm…”. Copies are available on the stand at the back.

7. The Church Gate Collection is the Monthly Collection for the Church Refurbishment Fund.  Please show your usual generosity. Thank you.
